October 16th-22th 2023 - V. Mussi will give a lecture at the
International School of Biophysics "Antonio Borsellino", at the Ettore
Majorana Foundation and Centre for Scientific Culture in Erice, in the
context of the 48th Course: Memos for biophysics into the future:
Lightness, quickness, exactitude, visibility, multiplicity, and
consistency (www.erice2023.it).
The lecture, titled "The unexpected
diagnostic potential of 3D nano-disorder: exploring biomechanical
properties to fast unveil epigenetic effects and cancer alterations on
genomic DNA", will be devoted to present the approach and the results of
the DIANA project
(www.erice2023.it/index.php/speakers).
September 4th 2023, last project meeting, closing remarks and
future perspectives.
April 26th 2023, sixth meeting.
The project Diana has been presented during the special session dedicated
to projects funded by Regione Lazio at the conference Biophysics@Rome 2023
which was held on 19 and 20 April 2023 at the CNR headquarters in Rome
(www.youtube.com/watch?v=WvtTYme2rQs).
Two contributions have been
inserted in the Conference Program:
Antonio Sciortino,
Oral contribution, ``Exploiting the DIAgnostic potential
of disorder: novel Nanostructured platform for rapid, label-free
and low-cost analysis of genomic DNA";
Eleonora Fiorentini,
Poster contribution,
``Diagnostic potential of disorder: Low cost and
label-free Raman biosensors based on Ag-coated nanostructures
for the detection of biological fluids".
