AVVISO DI SEMINARIO PER CHIAMATA RICERCATORE A TEMPO DETERMINATO in TENURE TRACK (RTT)

Il Direttore informa che con decreto rettorale n. 244/2025 del 23.1.2025, sono stati approvati gli atti della procedura selettiva per la copertura di un posto di Ricercatore a Tempo Determinato in Tenure Track (RTT) del GSD 01/MATH-03 SSD MATH-03/B, per la quale è risultata vincitrice la Dott.ssa Anna VIDOTTO.
Come previsto dal regolamento e dal bando concorsuale, la Dott.ssa Anna Vidotto terrà il seminario dal titolo “Recent developments in the study of non-linear functionals of Gaussian fields”
ABSTRACT: In this talk, we will present some recent results regarding different models which have in common being non-linear transformations of Gaussian random fields. We will start by presenting general results for probabilistic approximations via Stein-Malliavin techniques, then we will reach the study of geometric and statistical properties of time dependent random fields on the two-dimensional sphere.
