IJAR Best paper award
The International Journal of Approximate Reasoning (IJAR) offers a prize of 1000 euros for the IJAR Best paper award at SMPS 2016.
The award is open to early career researchers working in the area of Soft Methods in Statistics and Probability and related topics.
A committee will review the applications and make a decision before the SMPS 2016 conference and notify the winner at the conference during the lunch on September 13.
The award committee is composed by Thierry Denoeux (Chair), Maria Brigida Ferraro, Paolo Giordani and Barbara Vantaggi.
All candidates must either be PhD students, or have obtained the PhD for less than 5 years at the time of the conference.
It is compulsory that the candidate is the author of a paper and attends the SMPS 2016 conference.
